( She took a seat and watched him mil about to get her food. )

( Flattery, pats, and more. Such things were easy ways to get on this beast's good side. As seen by the way purrs erupted from her throat. )

"Strange times, though what's even stranger is the scent wafting from you. Just what have you been up to in my absence?"

Work, snow, and family stuff has kept me busy. I'll hit replies and be around for a bit.

( That was better. She would allow him to pet her more if he wished. )

I have been busy, but I'll try to be active today. I was getting two accounts off the ground. Still got to make a header for one.

( He was lucky that she was in the mood to go for a walk. This sort of confidence had to come from somewhere after all. )

( She tilted her head at him. It seemed she was curious to see just how well he could use his words to placate her ego. )

"That's a round about way to say that you missed having me around."

"I've been around, just a bit busy."
