Fallout 4 New Vegas is a project aimed to fully remake Fallout: New Vegas in Fallout 4's Creation Engine.

25.04.2025 13:03 — 👍 14 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Early on was also when we began planning for the ruins of 'old' Vegas. Considering the extra world size we have to work with, we've decided to focus on enlarging things and making more interesting spaces to explore.
Driver Nephi is practically living large now!
Those side by side comparisons really start to pop when you look at things at night, however.

Often, we use the original pre-rendered backgrounds from the early Fallout titles to help inspire how things look and feel in F4NV.
Continuing with the theme of videos for a moment, we also took the time to showcase some early work on the soundtrack. Featuring here the work of F4NV Audio Lead Tostikaas, Doc Mitchell's Theme:

25.04.2025 12:44 — 👍 9 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Concepts were also done for the other parts of the map, these ones from deltatokyo as well - in this case exploring ideas for The Strip and Legion territory.
25.04.2025 12:20 — 👍 9 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Continuing down the route of concept art, this piece of the Prospector Saloon was used to help inform how we might approach the look of the area (even if the F4 engine only permits us to take those ideas so far.)
25.04.2025 12:19 — 👍 11 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Concept art is rarely the most necessary thing for F4NV, but with the extra tools we have on hand to help tweak and adjust the look and feel of our world, it doesn't hurt to explore new ideas. n this case, Team F4NV 2d artist deltatokyo helped with these tone pieces for our environments.

Next to the chair is a small metal end table - a new Sunset-branded drink sits on the table in a red bottle - Sunset Prickly Pear - as is a Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle cap, and a Suppressed .22 Pistol. Behind the chair, a trunk is being used as a makeshift table, and has several bottles of Sunset Prickly Pear on it, along with a radio.
Way back in the day, this was the very first showcase we did of F4NV's worldspace - a small overlook not far from Goodsprings.

To kick things off, over the course of the next little while we're going to be uploading all of our previous showcase content to ensure cross-platform parity.
We hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane with us!
