To celebrate the 10th year of @smallpressday.bsky.social, our pals at @leedscc.bsky.social are holding a Comic & Art Market at The Brew Society in Leeds City Centre. From 11am to 5pm on Saturday 19th July 2025. Free entry with a whole host of incredible creators!

Next Saturday, it's Small Press Day at Brew Society in Leeds City Centre, come say hi to me and the rest of the fine Leeds Comics Collective folks!

Oh yeah, it does date the book but it’s also a good thing it came out in 2004 before social media became an all encompassing nightmare reality haha

It’s definitely a strong meta textual take to the character that I think does a lot to emphasise his relatable aspects while modernising the overall approach

Beautifully written, overly sentimental and very of the time with Superman being a benevolent vision of Western military power. I can see why it ranks so highly for people as the personal stuff does hit.

Immonen is a genuis, I grew up with his Avengers but this is something else
