The Danish container vessel "CHARLOTTE MÆRSK" is departing from Yantian in China.
Yantian is known for hosting the Yantian International Container Terminal, one of the world's busiest container ports.
Established in 1998, it acts as a major logistics hub adjacent to Hong Kong.....

BBQ grill parties has always been liked by the seafarers ❤️
In MAERSK LINE we had a "Zero alcohol policy".
So when we were conducting BBQ grill parties onboard the "ARTHUR MÆRSK", there was only served soft drinks and non-alchohol beers for the crewmembers.

"SVENDBORG MÆRSK" was my first vessel as Master (Captain).
She was built in Denmark anno 1998.

A LEGO model ship of "ARTHUR MÆRSK", which took two LEGO workers three months to build.
The model ship was given to "ARTHUR MÆRSK" as a gift by the wife of the Owner of LEGO (Mrs. Camilla Borg Kristiansen).
Mrs. Camilla Borg Kristiansen was the sponsor and godmother of the MS "Arthur Mærsk".
