Sounds like the day I'm having with technology. I support that viewpoint of, we are just like you. We don't get paid, (if we do it's because of working ~100hr a/v spot in a weekend) and we are trying our best, because we are from non specific industries that aren't congruent to convention running.

When the community was a bit smaller, we've all put our time volunteering. Because we want to have fun too. You're right, it helps you understand your own community and society. Running small public events can be hard. Because good ones that last, the person(s) have to air on the side of caution.
