Improving the animation: Made the jaw open and close during the jump, the legs and body stretch, and the arms drift upwards as the skeleton falls. All of this is pretty imperceptible but makes the animation FEEL very noticeably smoother and JUICIER!

Werewolves have a dashing AOE attack, when they get a kill, they gain a small speed boost so against weaker enemies they can go into an absolute frenzy.

A lot of work to make this little freak go up the stairs lol!
1. Tweening motion approaching the stairs using lerp() in GameMaker.
2. Sprite shrinks.
3. Top of sprite cut off at top of entryway.
4. Sprite fades to black, and then to 0 transparency.

I started playing Isles of Sea and Sky ( @cicadagames.bsky.social ) today and suddenly 4 hours wooshed in front of my eyes. It's definitely one of THOSE brainy games

Early on in trying to build up any kind of social media presence, we put tremendous effort into making this Bill Nye intro parody. The result was a big lesson about how for indie game marketing, the effort you put in most DEFINITELY DOES NOT translate to payoff lol.

This is a no-brainer if you like puzzle games at all, and a 'rush to grab this now you fool' recommendation if you liked Void Stranger.
It's less story-focused but it very much fills that 'five-dimensional sokoban tesseract' niche, with an open world and layered abilities that unlock new contexts.
