My only complaint is that I had to remove the CD/DVD rewriter to do this.

Yes I still use physical media.

And physical media back ups.

And I can watch DVDs or listen to CDs while doing stuff.

I really don't like it that we are going in a virtual direction as we are loosing so many treasures. 😞

Today's project was sorting out harddrive storage.

Which resulted in a hotswap bay being put into the PC for six harddrives to go in.

Now I can sort my files without having to rely on dodgy USB caddies that always seem to crash out under load.

Even with a powered hub.

Let's hope this works. 🤣💖

So basically check your saturn version and your original power supply for the number of pins and their voltages and set accordingly from bottom to top.
Mine is 0,0,3v,5v,9v.
And turn off the power on test.
You will also need a high wattage USB C charger that does 12v as well as 5v. Not USB A.

After a long fight I have a semi working Sega Saturn! 😁💖

I had to replace the PSU so I thought "I know. I'll be clever. I'll get a Clean Power PSU from Retro Six"

A good move but there are no instructions.

So after alot of trial and error it's running.

Well... I found treasure in the bin a few weeks ago.

It plays games and makes noises.
I just had to get a controller and AV lead for it.

I'm going to get a USB adapter for it and see if it will load a different front end. 😜💖
