📢 We are excited to announce that PhD candidate Lara Santos Ayllon from the University of Edinburgh will deliver the ECR keynote at this year's Beyond Oil conference!

Lara will present her research on:
👉 Making just energy futures from the ground up: Insights from the Orkney Islands.

In the perfect cross section between anthropogenic constructions and nature, we mapped the vegetation. One of the more unique compositions of species so far in #Ecobudgets.

The great advantage of having QGIS take care of creating randomly distributed sites for fieldwork. don’t think I could have picked a better spot myself to investigate the crossover from human made construction and nature! #Ecobudgets @uibcet.bsky.social @btwnthefjords-uib.bsky.social
