A stunning conclusion to a uniquely magical duology. These books always had me dying to read the next page, so I am a huge fan of this author now. I cannot wait to read The Knight and the Moth

This adult romance was so sweet and relatable. I had such a fun time reading it.

Children of Fallen Gods by Carissa Broadbent

I love this series so much, but I'm afraid of how it's going to end. Because of this, it is taking me so long to read the third book. Characters and development are phenomenal.

Pretty interesting read and gave me the information I was looking for on ancient Greek fashion.

Weathering: The Power of Rest and Retreat in Difficult Times by Katherine May

This book made me cry and also inspired me to take the time I need to recover.

Suzanne Collins is such a talented author. This book gives so much heartbreaking context to The Hunger Games and was phenomenally done.

I gave the first two books of this series four stars, but the plot was really plotting for me here. I am in dire need of the next book. I have so many theories and I cannot wait to see how it unfolds. Holy shit, that ending...

The Prisoner's Throne by Holly Black ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I wish that this book was narrated by Wren because I adore her, but I understand why it wasn't. This series had a satisfying ending and I was THRILLED to see more of Cardan and Jude.

The Stolen Heir by Holly Black ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love everything by Holly Black. I appreciate the lore accurate fae so much. I found Wren to be delightful and the plot had me intrigued.

Legends and Lattes by Travis Baldree ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Listen I'm a sucker for a coffee shop romance. Add a fantasy setting with a loveable main character? I'm so in. I had a great time reading this, so if you are looking for something fun and cozy, here it is.

The Twisted Throne by Danielle L. Jensen ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I don't like these characters as much as I did the first two series (I'm literally in love with Keris), but I thought it was a solid first book. I'm excited to see how they are going to resolve that cliffhanger.

Daughter of No Worlds by Carissa Broadbent ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I loved the characters and the romance is SO GOOD. The plot had me hooked from the beginning. I can't wait to finish this series.

Mysteries of Thorn Manor by Margaret Rogerson ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a cute companion short story set after the events of Sorcery of Thorns. It was such a fun, short read. I loved getting to see more from the characters I loved in the novel.

I always cry like a baby reading her books. I genuinely feel like they make me want to be a better person. I recommend this book to everyone. (Also Braiding Sweetgrass if you haven't read that one)

All I'm going to say about this is that it just is not my cup of tea and I will not be finishing the series. The audiobook narrators did a great job though!

The writing wasn't my favorite and I found it to be pretty predictable. I'm intrigued enough to borrow the second book from the library when it is released. I thought the quicksilver was cool and the narrators of the audiobook did well. I hate the cover though.

Wrath of the Triple Goddess by Rick Riordan

I am always going to love a Percy Jackson book. I liked that this one was more like a sitcom, since the stakes felt lower and the adventure was relatively small. Loved the pet sitting hijinks and Annabeth will always be a baddie.

One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig

I gave this 4.5 stars on storygraph, but I'm going to round up here. This book was so unique and like a breath of fresh air. It had good character and world building. I immediately went and bought the second book because I NEED to know what happens.

I loved the first book of this series, but this one didn't hold my attention as much. I, for some reason, thought this was a trilogy so I was surprised when everything was wrapped up at the end.

This book suffered a little bit from middle book syndrome and I'm frustrated with the miscommunication trope.

This was fun to read and I like the characters a lot. The plot was intriguing and I'm excited to see where this goes. Also, Tairneanach is my favorite character. He's an icon. 🐲
