And yet, once the lockdowns and restrictions started lifting, everything went back to as it was. Traffic ramped back up. People who liked and thrived working from home were forced back into the office.

Say what you will for Paris, but it's one of the few places that learned from Covid.

I often think of how Covid showed how some things COULD be, and yet it all reset like nothing happened.

Covid proved a lot more people could work from home than we were told before. That places like Los frigging Angeles could have clean air. That positive changes CAN be made.

Today is my "anniversary." It snuck up on me.

Achelousaurus, the centrosaurine ceratopsid. On his nose and eye ridges are thick boney build-ups called bosses. It has a large beaked mouth. His head frill has two large spikes at the top that curve outward. It's coloration is inspired by the bearded vulture. It's face is white with black sides on the muzzle with red rimming the frill. His body is red with a dark grey striping along his back and tail. His underbelly is white.

This is Achelousaurus, a centrosaurine ceratopsid dinosaur that lived during the late Cretaceous. Unlike most centrosaurine ceratopsids who had horns on their nose & eye ridges, Achelousaurus instead had thick bony build-ups called bosses. #CapsDinos #Paleoart #Dinosaur

Y'know, I gotta say. I recall seeing the first Scream movie, thought it was okay, but I can't for the life of me remember if I've seen ANY of the sequels. If I have, I don't think I saw any past Scream 3.

Hearing about all these bloody sequels makes me think I'm not missing out on much.

I've had a few of those. I was blessed enough that they named my novel. They wanted to share my book with a wide audience of readers. They were so excited at the prospect.

All I had to do was pay them $30 for the privilege.

It's like the DC vs Marvel shit. They're all professionals who respect each other's work, and have sometimes even worked together. Sure, there's some friendly competition, but it's out of mutual respect for the other's work.

$110 Canadian, which is a little harder pill to swallow, but not wholly unreasonable for 3 4K movies. It's close to what I recently paid for the TMNT trilogy.

Jinfengopteryx, the small maniraptoran dinosaur. The single fossilized specimen had plenty of feathers. It's hind legs had small sickled talons like many maniraptorans. It has a brown colored body with the tips of it's forelimb feathers and tail feathers a warm yellow color. It's standing up a little taller, it's tail arched up displaying it's large feathers.

Today's dino is Jinfengopteryx, the small maniraptoran dinosaur. While the exact timeline is a bit uncertain, it's thought to have existed during the early Cretaceous in what is now China. #CapsDinos #Paleoart #Dinosaur

You're in a better place than I. While I have two books published, I pretty much gave up on writing years ago. Tried getting back into it multiple times and give up again.
