I don't think it's the best idea. I think you need a delay, if possible. I have a table saw that was built in the early 50s. It has no safe guards. The man who owned the company sponsored a DIY show on WGN in Chicago & his fav thing to do was to have a cup of coffee & watch the show on Sunday morn.
