that you have PERSONAL work to do on tolerating discomfort and regulating your nervous system without relying on others to change or do it for you. This work is often PRIVATE, therapeutic, and will serve you across communities as an activist and neighbor

lastly and most disrespectful point: the world does not care that you are traumatized. Your specific experience with grooming does not make you a spokesperson or expert on censorship laws or trauma. if you are someone who is constantly activated by things they view or read online, it should indicate

1. you don’t need trauma to make art about trauma
2. all queer art is considered profane and when you create subcategories of “who’s worse” you’re making it easier on the fascists

wild how atm the most dangerous people to ally with in a shared community is NOT the perps and bad actors, but moreso the “anti” and fragility mindset held by many young artists who project their discomfort as objectively immoral. Unwittingly regurgitating puritanical fascist rhetoric
