Weirdly they condemn the western using English. If they are so proud of their "shared ethnicity", learn to comment in Chinese or use Google to translate to Chinese to show their loyalty.

Think of the 5 Demands and 3 Demands as not-so-distant cousins. The details of what HKers and Thais are asking for vary, but in essence both sets are concerned with giving power back to the people. The struggle is different. The struggle is the same.

I read criticisms of Jimmy Lai. Those Southeast Asian Chinese condemns him, criticise his "colluding with foreign forces", calling him a traitor. Now, all these are written in English. They condemn the western world, in English. 🤔🤔

Out and about canvassing. I've tapped on my English, Cantonese and Mandarin skills. Managed my first stakeboard with the help of my election partner. We think we might have a few swing voters. It was very satisfying talking to people.
