I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

I wouldn't have expected them to say they were doing anything with a Legends collection right now anyway. Not when they got the Star Force collection just around the corner and MMDO next year. But I'm not holding my breath over a Legends collection happening in my lifetime.

Other than the Phantasy Star games, I don't really touch any online-only games. Looks like PSU works with it though.

I do play a number of dosbox games though.

I hear a lot of "time to learn Linux." For art purposes, I can continue to use a cheap Windows laptop. But for gaming, how would that effect my decades of options? New games, old games, Steam games, GOG games, CDs, DVDs, emulators, recomps, decomps, fan patches, mods, etc. I genuinely don't know.

Have finally got around to watching Common Side Effects. 5 episodes in and it rules! Highly recommend. Gripping but also really funny! Sharply written characters. Great animation. A breath of fresh air.
