I view ebooks as a great chance to take a relatively inexpensive chance on a new to me author to see if I like their work. And I wish more other readers felt that way. It’s the difference between thousands of dollars in royalties and $100 or less in a given year.

Star Wars redone CGI didn't enhance the movie. Often, it made it worse.

Lord of the Rings CGI was beautiful. So was Avatar's. The difference is that was the director's vision and the CGI was their tool. In no case, is AI the vision. At best it's a short cut.

I'm such a softie that part of me tried to convince myself that there's nothing wrong with a six-legged dragon. I mean, why not, but it just doesn't look intentional. It just looks bad.
