Got reminded on why I stopped using BlueSky before, probably gonna have to keep away from this app again

I'm setting myself up to have expectations for Metroid Prime 4 now

I ended up playing the Wii version of Metroid Prime tonight, and now I think I get the hype for myself, been years since I last played the game tbh, and wasn't too into it back then

So what do we get with the open world? Boring desert. Bike as your main way of travel, that also takes away your first person POV and replaces it with a third person POV. Things aren't looking great for Metroid Prime 4 tbh

From what I've seen, although this isn't the only appeal the Metroid Prime games have, the thing about Metroid Prime games that apparently made them so beloved is being immersed into atmospheric environments, with the first person POV really adding to that immersion.

I just found out about how they added an open world area or just made Metroid Prime 4 open world in general, and having seen what fans of previous Metroid Prime games have said about the appeal the original trilogy had, 4 is looking bleak.

The Nintendo Switch 2 era is a disaster that just keeps tumbling down, tumbling down, tumbling down.

I say this as if I'm getting any Switch 2 games, maybe if I went to the Grand Line, but otherwise, modern Nintendo just sucks, I don't care if their new games are potentially really good or not, I'm not getting a Switch 2

The new Yoshi game that was announced last Direct doesn't leave a good first impression with the soundtrack, which is especially disappointing because Woolly World's soundtrack absolutely slaps, but the game after it, Crafted World, had a soundtrack that was pretty bad

I weirdly am farther into my Tales of Vesperia first playthrough than I am my Tales of Symphonia first playthrough despite liking Symphonia in general more (I watched a Let's Play for both games and prefer Symphonia's story)

Oh yeah, I finished the show now. Gonna wait for Avatar Seven Havens now.

Just noticed I completely mistyped part of that, I meant legal way to watch the show, not movie. Nozomi Entertainment I don't think is able to put the movie up legally

About to finish Legend of Korra for the first time, so far I like the show, even if it does have its flaws (not very good romance). Definitely not as great as ATLA, but that would just be a hard ask

Fair, I don't really do headcanons much either, and headcanons can sometimes go too far as to be treated as fact. I just personally relate to Shinji a lot and like to think him as trans, even if he's never confirmed that way or shows that many signs in general

I've personally never heard a fan of one of his shows consider Ikuhara problematic before, curious as to why you say so tbh
