Part of the anger, I've found, also stems from damage to their pride and embarrassment, and hatred because they view the failed marriage as a failure. And it is a failure. But accepting part of that blame is never something that crosses some men's minds.

I love knowing that my players are readers. They're athletic, and smart, and I'm glad that reading these days is more important to this group, my kid included (to a point) than watching something.

I was running our first soccer practice of the season the other night and I was having the girls go around the circle and say their name and their favorite movie/show. Many of them didn't have a favorite movie or show. But one suggested favorite books and everyone got really excited! <3
