Love these animals! Give them respect and a good quality of life! Yes!!!! But you dont need to take out a second mortgage for vet bills at every little weird thing pets do!!! Sometimes pets are weird! Just like people! Please dont let shitty comments deter you from adopting!!!

Does this mean you shouldnt do what you can to care for your pets? Of course not! They rely on you! But vet prices are fucking absurd as well as the amount of adoptable animals in shelters rn who need loving homes.

Allow me to post an unpopular opinion rq: im tired of seeing people say “if you cant afford a vet dont own a pet!!!!”
Respectfully-emergency vet bills cost more than rent and I would rather see pets in loving homes than in shelters because people dont have two grand in savings 🤷🏻‍♀️ fight me idc
