A Royal Navy 1st rate launched in 1795. Her name comes from the French flagship, captured at the Battle of the Saintes in 1782. The Royal Navy sometimes adopted names of foreign ship that had fought well.

This is a photograph of an old, dusty window with a diamond-patterned metal grille. Thick cobwebs cover the lower part of the window and the surrounding area. Sunlight is illuminating the webs and casting diamond shadows on the rough stone sill.

Conjectural reconstruction of the peaceful sixth-century monastery at Kingarth, Isle of Bute - at least peaceful until the Vikings arrived. It is said to have been founded by the Irish monk Cathan (Catan or Cattan), but the site is more commonly associated with his nephew, St Blane (Irish Bláán).

An invisible man stands in a lab, only visible due to his glasses, trench coat and partial bandages around where his face should be. Two faces peer at him through a window behind.
