Every morning when I read the news

Tumblr post saying “me high as fuck vibing with my cat” and pokemon screenshots of Pokemon the first movie with Mewtwo saying “What is my reason to live?” Mew saying “mew” and Mewtwo responding with “You’re right. I see now that the circumstances of one’s birth are irrelevant.”

People never suspect I’m neurodivergent… until I start talking 😭😭😭. Once I stopped people-pleasing, I began using my free will, and suddenly every conversation carries this awkward tension 🤷🏽‍♀️. I’m not here to make others comfortable. I exist on my own terms

That’s why we’re often labeled as “fakers” or “intimidating”because we remind them that their assumptions about autism are not only wrong but deeply limiting and ugly.

Society has long painted autism as undesirable, or incompatible with beauty, charisma, and social worth. Being hot and neurodivergent exposes the hypocrisy: people’s shallow value systems crumble when confronted with the fact that an autistic person can be magnetic, talented, and fully human.

the world values constant performative friendliness, which can be exhausting for someone who’s just being themselves 🥲

High masking is exhausting.. it’s basically performing a polished version of yourself all the time, and when you naturally keep to yourself or avoid small talk, people sometimes interpret that as “I think I’m better than you” 🫠
