You’ll all be thrilled to know that if you categorize your business on Instagram/FB as a “movie and music store” as opposed to “shopping and retail” you can use more or less any song in the history of recorded music in your videos and posts.

huh. Well I’ve been able to import audio from a different vid, but then the audio section will read “10000 Hz Records - the Clash - I fought the law” or whatever it is instead of just reading the title of the song.

Perhaps my most boomer quality is I have literally no idea how other businesses are adding music to their Instagram and FB posts where the artist/title reads correctly in the little audio thing and/or without getting flagged for copyright violations. I’ve tried and googled it all. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Went to a Best Buy today for the first time a hot minute and man, as much as I have fairly fond memories of going there high af as a teenager and playing random Nintendo games on the display console and looking at CDs, it is as depressing a hellscape as there is in the U.S. in 2025.
