Gonna work on book 3 next week. Full hermit mode.

For one who would squander their gifts for meaningless pursuits like a position of power, I pity them. 10/10

Perhaps if Kenamen had that same connection from another fennec, he wouldn’t have done what he did. There’s no real way to tell. 9/10

Hemmu was a cure for that poison before it even afflicted Ia. He saw the beauty of what she could do for what it was. A demonstration of the appreciation for the world she was part of. 8/10

While Ia had the humility to understand that nature was not hers to control, Kenamen lacked that and it destroyed him. And that’s just the way of things. When you let your passions corrupt you and give way to pride, it becomes a poison. 7/10

His power did not bring life rather it stymied Ia’s. It threatened to end everything she’d worked so hard for. A family. Peace. Love. 6/10

Kenamen sought control. Domination. He wanted all that the streams had to offer for himself. As a result, he could never reach the heights that Ia had. Only make a twisted imitation of it. 5/10

Hemmu saw that in her and appreciated her spirit just as she appreciated his. The two ran with the flow of nature together and as such, drew great power from it. 4/10

From a very early age, Ia didn’t control the streams of the sky, she flowed with them. Saw them as a thing of beauty rather than something to control. 3/10

Having a good foundation, a support system, something you wanna live for, all contribute to those natures. 2/10

Nudging the Sky perfectly encapsulates what it means to have a humble nature vs a controlling one. Both can be learned and cultivated by inside and outside sources. 1/10
