The U.S. Supreme Court has officially denied Kim Davis’s appeal, ending her years-long fight against same-sex marriage rights. Davis, a former Kentucky county clerk, became known in 2015 when she refused to issue marriage licenses to gay couples after the Supreme Court legalized same sex marriage in Obergefell v. Hodges.
By refusing, she violated the couples’ constitutional rights and was later ordered by a jury to pay damages. Davis asked the Supreme Court to not only overturn that ruling (pay your own damn bills lady) but also reconsider the national legalization of same-sex marriage reaching unprecedented Karen levels.
Girl go get a real job. Bye!

Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani has named veteran budget official Dean Fuleihan as New York City’s First Deputy Mayor.
The announcement took place at Roosevelt House on the Upper East Side, the same historic site where Franklin D. Roosevelt conducted his own transition to the presidency in 1932.
Fuleihan served as the city’s Budget Director from 2014 to 2017 and First Deputy Mayor from 2018 to 2021. Under his leadership at the Office of Management and Budget, New York City’s budget grew from about $72 billion to $85 billion.

Trump issued more than 70 pardons late last night, including to Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows, John Eastman, and other allies accused of trying to overturn the 2020 election results.
The move wipes away federal charges and investigations for many of his closest supporters who were facing accusations of conspiracy, obstruction, and filing false elector documents. These pardons only apply to federal cases, meaning some could still face prosecution at the state level in places like Georgia and Michigan.

After more than a month of a government shutdown, the Senate voted 60–40 to move forward with a bill to reopen the government. The deal passed with help from eight Democrats who joined Republicans, while Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer voted against it.
Schumer had pushed for the deal to include an extension of Affordable Care Act subsidies, but that was dropped from the final version.
He said he couldn’t support reopening the government without protecting health care benefits for millions of Americans and voted “no” as if he wasn’t the one making the deal. 😑😑

Donald Trump has proposed a new kind of home loan: the 50 year mortgage. The idea, shared on social media as a “solution to housing affordability,” would spread payments over five decades.
While monthly payments might shrink, the total interest paid would skyrocket, locking borrowers into decades of debt and benefiting banks and lenders far more than ordinary buyers.
Currently, federal lending rules cap standard loans at 30 years, meaning the proposal would require major policy changes.

Donald Trump has once again resorted to insults and division instead of substance. In a post on Truth Social, he called Zohran Mamdani a “self-professed Jew hater” and mocked Jewish voters who might support him. The baseless and inflammatory remark shows how far Trump will go when he has nothing real to say about his own record or Mr. Granny killer.
Rather than discussing policy or offering solutions, Trump turns to name calling and lies, a familiar tactic throughout his career.
It’s another reminder that money and power can buy attention, but they can’t buy class. 🚮

Adelita Griialva has now broken a modern record for the longest delay in being officially seated in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Her situation has drawn national attention because she also holds what could become the decisive signature in a discharge petition to release the sealed Epstein files. For some odd reason Mike Johnson does not want to seat her.
The House currently has 217 members signed onto the petition, one short of the 218 required to force a floor vote.
If seated, Grijalva's name would give Democrats and a handful of Republicans the final vote needed to release of long classified documents related to Jeffrey Epstein's network and his political and financial connections.
Who do you think Speaker Johnson is

On October 31, 2008, a mysterious person or group using the name Satoshi Nakamoto released a document called the Bitcoin White Paper. In it, Nakamoto explained how a new kind of digital money called cryptocurrency could work without relying on banks or middlemen.
According to the paper, there will only ever be 21 million Bitcoins created, a process known as “mining,” which adds new coins to the network over time.
The white paper outlined a peer to peer electronic cash system that allows people to send money directly to each other. Bitcoin’s main innovation was its blockchain, a shared public ledger that records every transaction. Because it is distributed and cryptographically verified, it makes counterfeiting or tampering with the record almost impossible.
In its early years, many business leaders and financial institutions dismissed Bitcoin as a scam or a fad. But over time, it gained legitimacy and even major banks like JPMorgan Chase now use blockchain technology.
To this day, the true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto remains unknown, leading to speculation that it could be a single programmer, a group of people, or a government agency like the CIA.

Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s name appears in a contact list linked to Jeffrey Epstein, according to several media reports. The so called “black book” included thousands of names from politics, entertainment, business, and academia.
Cuomo’s name reportedly appears among those contacts, but there’s no public evidence showing that he ever visited Epstein’s properties.
Howard Glaser, a former top aide to Cuomo revealed this past August that Cuomo’s ex-wife, Kerry Kennedy, locked herself in the bathroom to avoid his abuse. Glaser’s wife, Karen Hinton accused the former Governor of sexual misconduct. She claims that Cuomo hugged her when he was physically aroused. Glaser promised to release other “Cuomo family values” before November.
Additionally, a federal inquiry later found Cuomo subjected at least 13 state employees to a sexually hostile work environment.
Cuomo’s team has denied that he ever met Epstein but this man is undoubtedly full of red flags.

According to a recent New York Times article, FBI Director Kash Patel was alarmed that the Director of Counterterrorism, Joe Kent, had accessed files pertaining to the Charlie Kirk assassination.
The files in question were examined to ensure that Kirk’s alleged killer, Tyler Robinson, did not have ties to any foreign government or entity.
According to multiple people familiar with the situation, Patel and other senior officials believed that Kent was overstepping and potentially interfering with the prosecution of Robinson.

Billie Eilish asked Billionaires in attendance at the WSJ Innovator Awards to do more with the vast fortunes they posses.
As she accepted the Music Innovator Award, she asked those in attendance to step up to meet the current moment.
“We’re in a time right now where the world is really, really bad and really dark and people need empathy and help in our country. I’d say if you have money, it would be great to use it for good things and give it to some people that need it. Love you all, but there’s a few people in here that have a lot more money than me. If you are a billionaire, why are you a billionaire? No hate, but give your money away, shorties.”
We live in a world where there are a small number of people that have more wealth than most of the country. What’s the use of Billionaires when our communities don’t look like there’s much wealth around and the common citizen pays most of the tax bill?
Eilish is donating $11.5 million through her “Hit Me Hard and Soft” tour. The donations will go to “The Changemaker Program,” which helps organizations around the world address food insecurity and climate change.

Israel says that it is committed to the U.S. backed ceasefire after killing 100 people including 46 children and 20 women. Israel says that one IDF soldier was killed but Hamas has rejected the claim.
Israel says the air strikes targeted weapons depots, tunnels and named 24 Hamas soldiers.
Gaza media said Israel’s lists of targets are a “systematic campaign of misinformation, forgery and lies aimed at distorting the truth, and covering up its ongoing crimes against civilians.”

The Times of London just pulled a fake story after falling for a Bill de Blasio impersonator.
The article originally headlined “Zohran Mamdani ally Bill de Blasio says his policies don’t add up,” claimed the former NYC mayor had turned on Mamdani.
De Blasio called the story “entirely false and fabricated” and said he never spoke to that reporter. The paper later admitted they’d been duped by an impersonator and still hasn’t explained how it got published or how the interview was conducted.

Five Republican senators joined Democrats to block former President Donald Trump’s plan to impose new tariffs on Brazil.
The five GOP Senators are:
1.Susan Collins (R-Maine)
2. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska)
3. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky)
4. Thom Tillis (R-North Carolina)
5. Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky)
Senator Kaine and others accused Trump of abusing emergency powers to bypass Congress and punish trading partners for political reasons.
Trump previously said that “Brazil was doing terrible things in their treatment of former President Bolsonaro,” and accused the Brazilian legal system of a “witch hunt.”
Bolsonaro is accused of leading a plot to overturn the 2022 elections, coordinated with military elements, and illegally spied on his political opponents.
Sound familiar?
