Romeo & Juliet, subject of my master's thesis.
Hamlet, As You Like It, Cymbeline & Twelfth Night (PhD research on cross-dressing women).
King Lear, for sheer tour de force.
A Winter's Tale; always wanted to act in that one.
Richard III for sheer WTFery.
A Comedy of Errors; being a Dromio was fun!
I wish I knew; hers was terrific. Damn, I miss her.
I used this recipe, doubled. Used 3 eggs instead of 2 and 2 yolks, bumped up the zest. Cooked it for 15 minutes.

Seems eminently qualified for this administration.

We only moved it about fifteen feet, but we have not seen a single hummingbird on it since it starting being able to take photos again.

Lemon curd update: it's delicious, and a great texture with very little work. Must put some in the freezer for when the grandbug is here; that kid loves lemon desserts. Might make a cocktail, too.
06.03.2026 00:12 — 👍 6 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0That's why I've always used Ina's recipe; she puts in all the zest and then adds some juice. But this seems to have come out pretty well, and no standing over the stove stirring....
05.03.2026 23:50 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I put extra zest in this one, and equal parts lemon juice and sugar. I think it's about the right level of sweetness for me.

Time to experiment. Instead of my tried-and-trusted recipe from Ina Garten, I will trying a new recipe for lemon curd, using the pressure cooker. As a start, I went out the front door and picked these beauties from our Meyer lemon tree. The bowl was made by my later mother, who dabbled in ceramics.
