Standing before him, with their back to the reader, is a muscular figure in a green jumpsuit and gloves, holding a smoking black pistol which features a Nazi swastika on the side, his head cut off from view by the top of the page. Regardless, it is clear to readers familiar with him that he is the Red Skull.
