Hollow by Brian Catling

A book so weird it doesn't fit in any one genre. It's an alternate history horror fantasy that takes place in a Hieronymus Bosch inspired 16th century Europe. A band of mercenaries have to escort a deformed holy oracle to a monastery. 9/10
