I just submitted the final report for an NIH R01 grant that provided major support for my lab's work on cellular organization since 2005. Although the report is somewhat pro forma, it was difficult.

I am grateful to US taxpayers, NIH program staff, and referees for trusting us to do this work.

In Armenian, my dad often uses the Turkish phrase "falan fstikan": It means "and so on" or "stuff like that." The store sells electronics, appliances, falan fstikan.

I've always known what it meant, though I don't speak Turkish. But I only recently noticed it really means "pistachios and stuff."

I agree, I thought it was super weird they kept bringing up Epstein. But I assumed it was just one of the pins on their conspiracy board and not particularly important to them.

Feels dumb to me but so did everything else.

Sounds like a lian li. I think it’s time to move on though. Newer cases are designed for much better airflow, larger fans, and modern AIO support. Also there’s the empty drive bays. I think it’s time to drop it off at a goodwill :(.
