He's throwing spaghetti at the wall. Ultimately I suspect he just wants to say he "solved" a problem that has vexed every American president since Jimmy Carter. But there's no clear idea what that looks like and no plan for how to get there. And there are plenty of possible scenarios in which Trump declares victory and leaves the region with an absolute mess

There are controls on harmful drug use and most will only be available solely through the specialist pharmacy mechanism.
"Pulling out of NATO" is not a listed Green Party policy, membership is recognised as valuable.
You cannot talk like this about any other minority in America.
And if it was any other president’s adviser who said something like this about any other minority, it’d be the instant end of their presidency.
Asserting international law only when it is in your own/allies interest means not being committed to international law at all. Being dragged into a war by more powerful allies against direct interest and better judgement means having no strategic autonomy. The UK Govt is in a mess.
