Dr. Jarrett took ODU to new heights. From his impact on women's sports to improving the University's profile nationally, his leadership was essential and things have not been the same since he stepped away.

A true legend and a great person. Rest well.

This is a neat video featuring Nats CF Jacob Young. Wasn't fully healthy in '25 but the OPS dropped below .600. Defense is excellent but the bat needs work if he wants to stick around.

Michael Johns will be the Nationals' new bench coach, per Ken Rosenthal. Johns, 50, has worked in the Rays organization since 2008, including 9 seasons as a minor league manager, before becoming Tampa Bay's first base coach in 2024. Already has an established relationship with manager Blake Butera.

Miguel Cairo is out of the running for Nats manager as search continues Cairo served as interim manager after Dave Martinez was fired in July. He interviewed for the job but has been told he’s no longer under consideration.

Miguel Cairo has been informed he won't be the Nats' next manager, per sources.
