I'm REALLY craving a Western project and I'm trying hard to come up with the plot. Taintskin is KIND of a space western but it doesn't quite... get there, I don't think.

This guy, Josh Segarra, may be one of my favorite TV actors. He's always super positive, friendly, charming, a little naive. I first saw him in The Other Two and he's finally upgraded from "Oh hey him!!" to me actually remembering his name. 😁

I'm as excited as I can realistically be for whatever this is, but like.... is Adam Baldwin going to be involved? I can't help feeling bringing the anti-gay, anti-vaxx, anti-woke guy back would be the thing that breaks the whole Jenga tower.

I'll never know! But hey, we're from the same town, and my parents wanted a G name so me, my brother, and my dad would all have the same initials. When their first choice - Gregory - was taken by a friend, they decided to just MAKE UP a name. (points) There were so many other G names!!!!

I happen to know the story from Wikipedia. She wanted to name him after her husband's brothers (what kind of patriarchal cult bullshit is that, btw?) and couldn't decide which. Eventually she gave up trying to decide. So just laziness and a failure of education/imagination, really.

I'm sure there's also the "fuck covid guidelines" element to it.

Also a lot of people don't mention the fact his only real accomplishment is running that plumbing company, which his daddy gave to him fully established at 20. Dropped out of college and never had to actually work for a living. Typical Republican "success" story.
