I've interviewed WWE Superstars such as Ric Flair, Edge and Big Show for Sky Sports.
I commentated on TNA and New Japan for Eurosport.
And I've been a ring announcer for QPW introducing Cody Rhodes, Rey Mysterio and Sting.
I'm a huge football fan. I have supported Brighton ever since I was a kid going to the Goldstone Ground.
It turned out two of my neighbours played for the club just as I started going to games.
I often appear on the Daily Brighton podcast as a guest.
In 2005 I earned the Eurosport Masters in Multimedia Sports Journalism at the Universidad Europea de Madrid.
It included a 3-month internship at Eurosport's European headquarters in Paris. I would later freelance as a commentator for Eurosport.
Between 2005-2008 & 2009-11 I worked for Sky Sports.
I really learned my craft during this time working for various departments in different roles.
This included being a sub-editor for Sky Sports News & an assistant producer for Sky's digital offerings where I would edit & voice match highlights.
Between 2011-2016 and 2008-09 I worked on the sports desk at Al Jazeera English in Doha, Qatar.
Producing daily sports bulletins, I also had the opportunity to present and report on the international news channel.
I also field produced at the 2012 London Olympics & 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
I also interviewed over 100 World and Olympic champions on the Best in the World with Richard Parr podcast.
I learned incredible insights from these champions to find out what they do differently from the rest of us to be the best.
Between 2016 and 2018, I streamed a daily sports breakfast show on Facebook Live & YouTube called Sportuccino.
Pretty much a video podcast using Skype before it became the norm post-pandemic!
Between 2018 and 2023, I produced CNN World Sport.
I led a team in London and Atlanta producing a daily 30-minute sports news show.
I also field produced at major events including the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
I've been back freelancing as a sports broadcaster, journalist & producer for the last year.
Work includes:
- Voicing Ligue 1 highlights.
- Commentating Premier League games for Livescore & FotMob.
- Producing written & video content for BBC Africa Sports.
- Editing highlights for Chelsea FC.
