I haven't read the comic (and don't intend to), but I recognize the cover as an homage to Manara's infamous Spider-Woman cover from, like, ten years ago.

To me, that sends a message: "We're still mad about it and we haven't learned anything."

So we're clear, @phillipsevy.bsky.social and @hackintimseeley.bsky.social deserve to be raked over the coals for taking a character who's a victim of sexual violence and basically making her a pet of her abuser (and being too cowardly to address the criticism), but save a lot of that hate for Marvel
