Grumpy grumbling about people complaining about ” True Name ” tropes in myth and fiction is making me a bit sad. Like sure I understand where you’re coming from to an extent but the thing about true name is so ingrained in human culture the type have it in pretty much every corner of the world.

Do this with Japanese and other languages I know all the time. It’s one of the more fun thing to do ( besides meeting people ) when learning languages imo.

Yeah if I had to guess the common sense thing in Finland and Scandinavia would be that chances you would use one of them is so small and they need to be maintained to be useful etc . Also we don’t use gas and such which usually lead to most fires. Still , should be there or a fire blanket imo.

The place I lived before kinda close to here did have extinguisher under the sink and inspected it every 6 months.

I live in the dc Maryland area now and nope no extinguisher here there is one in the hallway but it’s so damn faked with grime and dust that I have no illusions to it working

yeah agree but the way they don’t give a shit about rails here it would mean a track that took 3 days to ride with checkpoints and it would break down 50% of the time.
