The Trustees of On Fire Mission (OFM) are delighted that our Chair of Trustees, Leah Vasey-Saunders, has been announced as the next Bishop of Doncaster. Leah brings to this role not only a wealth of experience and expertise, but also a strong commitment to the renewal of God’s church for the sake of the kingdom, and a sacramental, spirit-filled faith which is the root and heart of her ministry. Chair of the OFM Mission Enabling Group, Ruth Harley, said: “Leah’s love of God and God’s people, and her capacity to develop and sustain a vision for the renewal of the church, and equip and enable others, have been a tremendous gift to us at OFM. She will bring all this and more to her episcopal role, and will be a blessing to the Diocese of Sheffield and the wider church.” Please pray for Leah and her family in this time of transition, and for the continuing work of OFM under her leadership.
