A few weeks ago my family and I went whale watching in Depoe Bay, Oregon, and apparently we picked the best day for it because we saw at LEAST eight or nine whales 😮✨

The A7IV's in-body stabilization came in clutch for those bee pictures, because of course the Helios has no autofocus or stabilizer and wide-open the depth of field is paper thin 😅

Took a day to ride around the Mt Hood Fruit Loop the week before last to get some fresh air. I stopped at the Grateful Vineyards for some cider, enjoyed the fall day, and took some pictures of bees ✨

Last summer, I went backpacking at Serene Lake in the Mt. Hood National Forest. I went on a Sunday so I could see the Perseid meteor shower, and wound up having the whole lake to myself ✨

Hey sorry I've been super AWOL and haven't posted here in a minute; my kitty Sophia had a bit of a medical emergency the week before last and that kind of took all my time and attention

She's doing well now though! If she keeps recovering well she'll be released from The Cone Zone on Friday 🙏

It is at the base of icebergs where the magic happens. The deep blues of a small iceberg reflect in wondrous pastel tones off the gently undulating waters of Greenland's magnificent Scoresby Sund.

A tall tree in a dense, temperate rainforest, its thick trunk and sprawling branches covered in bright green moss. The moss hangs in long, shaggy layers, giving the tree a draped, almost otherworldly appearance. Surrounding the tree are other mossy trunks and lush green undergrowth, creating a damp, shaded forest scene.

very few ppl are as talented and fortunate as bill cunningham. but i often think about how he was able to live an honest life doing what he loved because he lived simply. even at the height of his career, he slept on a cot. as he once said, "if you don’t take money, they can’t tell you what to do."
