A white woman recently took to TikTok in shock after being fired.

She expressed surprise, believing perhaps that DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) hires were exclusively people of color.

However, a lesser-known fact is that white women are the largest demographic of DEI hires in the U.S.

We’ve been on the phone with multiple agencies/orgs. They’ve been completely cut off from federal money. We’re talking housing, homeless services, public safety, etc.

I’m calling a press conference today to explain how this could have drastic local impacts to our constituents.

For me, vulnerability is in the little things. The inviting someone out and adding "it would mean a lot to me if you came" or "i would like more of your time, i miss you" instead of acting nonchalant all the time. I can't afford to shield myself from disappointment anymore.

every once in awhile I hit the metal hardware in my ankle on something else hard and I get pinched from inside my skin. if you don't know, you do NOT want to know how badly that hurts. (not to mention how big my fear is that it will bust through my skin!!) that's definitely going to leave a bruise 😭
