Haha yeah I had different packages the last two years I rented. I started with a 148 Flat (good for beginners), and last winter had a 155 Hybrid-Camber (pretty verse and powder runs were fun!). Currently fixed up and using my uncle's old 155 vintage Camber (finally can properly start carving)!

Yes, overall these are technically my first set of bindings! I've been renting gear out the past two winters since I started. Eventually I would like to upgrade to some Supermatics, to go with my double BOAs, but current setup does the job for me! 🏂👍

Yeah there's a local ski & bike shop in town that offers pretty awesome deals, usually under MSRP! Included a picture of the bindings when I got them (Full price at 130 USD). They're super entry level and sometimes I have issues releasing my right ankle strap if there's ice in between the buckle >.<

Oooh yeah your Nidecker's gonna last you a couple years with their design and quality overall! I originally wanted to get the supermatics, but went instead for a affordable build this winter. Got new 5th Element bindings for 60 USD, and they seem to do the job but you do get what you pay for ^^;
