All grass fields are open today, Wednesday, October 15th, 2025, with the exception of Woodstock and Godfrey.

Lincoln, Lower Washington, and Krusi are also open however, it will be at the discretion of those scheduled to decide whether or not to hold practice.

Although we experienced some rain late yesterday evening, all grass fields are open for play today, Thursday, 10/2. Adult Softball games will proceed as scheduled at their designated locations this evening.

As of 1:52pm on Monday, 3/31/25, all grass fields are open. However, please note that rain is in the forecast for this afternoon/evening. It will be at the discretion of user groups to determine whether to practice/play if rainfall occurs.

All grass fields are open on Monday, 3/17/25 EXCEPT for Woodstock and Little John. Our park Staff has reported the fields listed as open are slightly soft with some puddles scattered across the ball diamonds. As always, please use
best judgment to determine if fields are suitable for play.

All grass fields will be closed today, 3/14/25, due to the current conditions following overnight rainfall.
While fields are currently open on Saturday, 3/15 and Sunday, 3/16, it is up to each user group to assess the field conditions and use best judgment regarding whether it is suitable to play.

Little John Field is closed today, 2/18/25 due to the current state of the infield.

All fields and Alameda Point Gymnasium are closed today, Monday, October 7th, 2024, due to excessive heat. This applies to ALL youth organizations who are utilizing these facilities. ARPD Adult Softball WILL STILL be taking place this evening at Lower Washington Park.

It is supposed to be very hot this weekend. ARPD strongly recommends organizations cancel outdoor practices/games if the temperature reaches 90 Degrees Fahrenheit on Saturday, October 5th and/or Sunday, October 6th.
