Ralph Senensky, the last surviving director from the #StarTrek The Original Series era, has sadly passed away at the age of 102.

He helmed 6 TOS episodes, including "This Side of Paradise", "Metamorphosis", and "Obsession".

RIP 1923-2025

We've lost another #StarTrek legend. The great #RIPRalphSenensky, the director of 7 great TOS eps like "The Paradise Syndrome" & "Metamorphosis", wrongly fired form "Tholian Web," and then lived long to blog and share it all, was 102. Blessed to have talked/hosted him for us all.

Obviously WST tournaments are pretty much open to all professionals, or open for them to qualify for.

The naming convention is pretty poor in WST - too many ‘masters’.

Championships CAN be open events too - the world championships are open to professionals (amatuers can also qualify and play).

Everything is open.

I'm shocked to learn that in Heyball the naming of tournaments actually makes some sense. Asian Championship = only open to Asian players. Asian Open = held in Asia, open to players from around the globe. 🤯
