Just completely kills all pacing, it's such a large amount of time compared to the rest of the game where nothing happens except you grind bond levels under a really depressing red sky. I think the game could have done with stretching the events of the game out a little, honestly

However it also takes quite a decent amount of steps back imo, the pacing is notoriously all over the place. For 90% of the game each deadline is around 12 days, and the whole game only takes place a total of 5 months, however right at the very end they give you a whole 30 day deadline, which

I think Metaphor does alot of good for the "Persona formula". It takes many steps forward, like making every bond rank up every time so you aren't wasting days just getting a single rank up. The amount of bonds is also smaller than other games, which could be a good or bad thing.
