Nobody wants to go read anybody, probably, but I'd think if given the choice to read Dennett, Chalmers, Churchland, Fodor, etc. I'd be surprised if many didn't choose Dennett. At least, I found him more readable than the others.

AI will help do those things, yes, in the same way that computers generally help, or that paper and pencil helps, or that pipettes help, etc. It’s a useful tool that biologists doing biology experiments will use.The idea AI will do anything without the biologists, or mountains of lab data, absurd.

I take the point of view that if a letter or a single court ruling is the hinge that society was in a state of waiting for a disaster to happen. Like if there is a switch in the cockpit that drops the engines it is pilot error to flip it in flight but also the switch shouldn’t be so easy to flip.

The American Presidency Can Never Be Trusted Again It’s time for multiparty democracy and a limited executive.

When this is over, we should look around and consider how do we prevent this from ever happening again. I’m not sold on a fully parliamentary transition, but the presidency must be curtailed constitutionally.

It’s so bizarre that it’s possible to be a federal judge (or president) and have any aspect of your finances not be complete public knowledge. Some roles are incompatible with privacy and we should enshrine this in toothy laws.

Before I zoomed in I thought that was a hammer and sickle in her user name and I thought things are just too confusing.
