HBCUs focus on programs with a high, immediate ROI for their graduates. Sadly that means HBCUs focus on making STEM majors to the detriment of arts, humanities, and culinary sciences. XULA has created nearly a dozen new programs in the past five years--overwhelmingly in STEM.
