My therapist keeps saying "damn, life got hands" which feels unhelpful at best

I used to, but then thrips came in to my house. Scale I could handle and manually clean, thrips have been impossible to get rid of. Some plants I had for 7 years are just gone. I’m taking it as a sign to start over and focus attention elsewhere. But the heartbreak of it sucked at first lol
