i want to love myself the same way i love how the sun rises each morning, how waves crash against the shore, how birds forage in the grass and how paint carves an image
i want to look at myself and be unashamed

i agree so hard

But the moments of peace when you watch the world go by is unmatched. It brings me to an emotional high, I feel as if I’m but a small part of this monolithic existence, and yet all the same I feel so full of warmth and life and compassion.

Making a cup of tea and sitting on the balcony in the warm summer air. I want to watch as trains go past, each person aboard on their own path in life.
Each and every person has a life as complex and detailed as your own, we are constantly surrounded by this

Glimpses of these lives, fleeting and intimate.
I can’t wait for when my life becomes a point of domestic, homely bliss; to get away from it all and to live in peace. Coming home after a day of work to my routine, stepping out of work shoes and into comfortable slippers.

These fill me with one of the best and strangest feelings in the world, it’s a longing, happiness and melancholy all at once. These signs of life help me realise the world is so big, it’s full of so many people you could never hope to understand them all.

One of my favourite things to do on the train is look at the apartments that line the tracks. Seeing a plant on the balcony, a well-worn chair, fairy lights or hung-up laundry feel like a glimpse into the domesticity of a person’s life.
