Before, I would supplement my income by working delivery jobs like Spark and DoorDash, but right now it’s not feasible. Between working full time and going to school full time (I have to in order to survive/get financial aid), I feel like I can barely keep my head above water

Every time I see someone with a full cart of groceries, I genuinely wonder how they do it. I cringe at any shopping trip that costs more than $50 because after my bills, I’m typically left with less than $100 a week to spend on gas and groceries themselves (and my car is about $35 to $40 to fill up)

I just made a 100 on my first midterm in community college, can I take the pseudo intellectual out of my description now?

Y’all, the best part of trying to build an emergency fund is having potentially major expenses happen while trying to build it… looks like I’m doing a heavy amount of gig work this week, but at least I don’t have to be in my house with no ac while I’m doing that

I recognize that even so, I have it so much better than others. And that’s why things need to change. I have it better than so many others and I’m still struggling.

It’s taken a month and a half to save $375 and I’m having to do gig work on top of my full time job all week next week to cover bills (usually that’s what goes into savings).

I’m working on saving money to eventually pay off all my debt and buy a modest home, so I’ve been watching a lot of videos of people’s spending and how they safe. It’s incredibly disheartening to see people whose weekly take home is more than I make in a month act like it’s easy to save money.

You know what the stupidest thing I’ve ever done is? Moving to Mississippi despite hating hot weather. WHY IS IS 80 DEGREES AT 10 AM IN EARLY APRIL?!

Today’s complaint of being an HR Assistant: I totally love the creative formats for resumes many people use. However, your formatting being inconsistent where my eyes dart all over the page to find start and end dates is frustrating. Your resume should be streamlined and readable.

I know I’m not the only one feeling guilty for being happy for personal wins, but I needed to say it somewhere. I hope I’m not screaming into the void, and even if there aren’t responses to this, please know you are seen and you aren’t alone!

offer them to small to medium size businesses.

Unions can negotiate far better than SMBs or associations .
