I was thinking this the other day as well. A respectable exit to a PL club would have been more dignified though 🀣

Very much this Lynne. He’s in the best possible place.

Typical Cotterill question. How he has a job as a reporter I have no idea. He’s abysmal.

Agreed, although we still have Lerma that can also do a job there if needed. It’s the challenge of playing a back three; you effectively need 5/6 centre backs which is a lot of centre backs 🀣

If we can double our original investment it wouldn’t surprise me. We know we’ll need to make one big sale in the summer to balance the books.

And as for Canvot, considering his age (starting regularly as a CB in the PL as a 19 year old is very rare), it’s clear he’s an absurd talent. Yes he’ll have his moments but that’s simply down to inexperience. Imagine how good he’s going to be in 2-3 years time.

Jaydee is 19 & Chadi is 22. I’ll criticise our recruitment as much as anyone, but we’ve absolutely nailed it with these two. Way too many people wrote off Riad but now he’s (hopefully) past his injury issues, we are starting to see what a talented defender he is.

I don’t think we can underestimate the gamble that is seemingly paying off by not signing a short term replacement for Guehi in January. It’s giving both Canvot & Riad valuable game time & exposure. Both were excellent again last night. The future is bright.

For Larnaca, I’d play Sarr there. Then you can get another attacker into the top line. No need for Clyne in a game like this.

Losing tonight really would ramp up the importance of next Sunday at home to Leeds. Feels like this is a season where 40 points might be needed to stay up….

Positive performance for the most part. Red card decision is an absolute joke. But it’s one of the big clubs at home so different rules clearly apply. Well done Chris Kavanagh & VAR πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

01.03.2026 16:03 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Oh if one club could, we know it’s us.

01.03.2026 09:45 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Looks class mate! Congrats!

27.02.2026 15:58 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Yeah I’m kinda annoyed I didn’t pick that one tbh as it looked incredible…although I was fortunate to get a ticket for Strasbourg.

27.02.2026 14:19 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Possible QF at Florentina would also be incredible, but their stadium is currently under re-development so ticket allocation wouldn’t be as big. RakΓ΄w would be utterly lame…stadium holds 5,500.

27.02.2026 14:17 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Trying not to get ahead of myself but a Semi Final vs. Shakhtar in Krakow in late April (30th) would be an away trip for the ages. They are currently averaging 8,000 attendances in the competition & the stadium holds 33,000….so tickets for everyone that would want to go.

27.02.2026 14:14 β€” πŸ‘ 4    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

He’s going to be ridiculously good;

27.02.2026 00:04 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Yep, that’s my thinking as well. Glasner is his shield.

23.02.2026 10:03 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Just depends how much damage the banners will have done to a certain someone’s ego…usually when it comes from that section of the fanbase, he acts…

23.02.2026 09:57 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

If Glasner is to still go, you’d imagine it would be today. Otherwise, would be bloody risky to make a change less than 72 hours before a game that will define the rest of our season. My guess is he will take Mostar game, and they then re-assess.

So he’s coming for the fans now. Oh Oliver. I’m glad I’m not there Sunday. It’s going to be beyond toxic.

20.02.2026 22:40 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Parish is shielding himself & using Glasner as the fall guy in every sense.

20.02.2026 20:35 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Steve Parish running of this football club since June has been absolutely shambolic. Keeping Glasner just shields him from a pile on from all angles. It’s pathetic. That’s why Glasner is still in a job. It’s plain & simple.

20.02.2026 20:15 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

He’s actually done pretty well at Ferencvarosi tbf to him. Did well in the Europa League as well. It would be an outside the box appointment.

20.02.2026 14:37 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

It’s got nothing to do with paying him off to leave early. Club clearly hasn’t got a plan to replace him mid season. Again, that exposes the structure/model we have in place. It’s scatter gun.

20.02.2026 10:53 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Another manager gets more out of these players. It’s time for a change. Can’t believe it’s come to this.

19.02.2026 20:04 β€” πŸ‘ 4    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

That second half performance was an absolute disgrace.

19.02.2026 19:41 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

His pass out to Sosa for the goal was top.

19.02.2026 18:47 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

No excuses tonight. A comfortable away win and we should have this tie killed off before we play them at Selhurst next Thursday. Anything less would be poor.
