18) His love for cooking isn't as strong as it was before he left Eos, given the reasons for it -- but it's still there, and he's still always taking notes even if they're mental notes about what works together and what doesn't.

17) Ignis is actually...small, compared to what he should be. He has trouble putting on weight. So lots of lean muscles and low squish on his tummy or anything else.

16) He's a sucker for more refined voices. Being unable to see, he has different...standards for dating than others. (Even once he regains his vision in Miqo-verse, voice is still a big factor in his attraction to other men.)

15) If he was an animal, he'd be a coeurl! This is why Miqo!Ignis has coeurl print ears and tail :3

14) He is very fond of the color purple! Even when he can't see, knowing that he has something of his favorite color on hand is soothing.

13) As a WoL or not, he can very easily sympathize with the Ascians once he knows the WHY behind what they do. He, too, would give anything, do anything to go back to how things used to be.

But he realizes that the reality isn't going to line up with that desire, no matter how humble it might be.

12) He can actually smell poisons...sometimes. Why sometimes? The ones he recognizes the quickest are the ones used back in Eos -- many of which are also on the Source!

But not all of them.

11) Ignis looks like a snob. He can be a bit of a snob. But he loves all kinds of music...at the right time. Sometimes he wants classical. Sometimes he wants rock. Sometimes he just wants the sounds of life to be the music for his own life. It really depends.

10) While he is very good at cooking, he also understands the desire to not necessarily always have healthy food. Especially if you're in a hurry and on the go, something unhealthy but portable might be preferred.

He won't ever admit it, though.

9) If you spy a relaxing Ignis, approach carefully. He's not one to relax on his own terms often beyond a glass of wine and a story of some sort at night before bed. Others can get him to relax WITH them, but on his own? Not so much.

8) Ignis never thinks much of himself. He doesn't view himself as strong or smart or important. Doesn't matter what timeline, doesn't matter what universe, doesn't matter what world. He has huge issues with self-worth that crop up unexpectedly. This, in turn, drives him to push himself too hard...

7) Ignis is prone to panicking if things get too out of control. Back on Eos, he had medicine...at least before the World of Ruin. But now he's fully unmedicated which can mean some explosive meltdowns if he's not careful.

Tending to a Memory

6) Ignis is ACTUALLY....good at playing violin! He's a bit rusty by now and might fumble trying to pick it up again, but he's more musically inclined than he'd rather people actually know.

5) When Ignis loves, it's fully. Passionately. He's polyam af but he doesn't half-ass when he loves someone. He might try to keep it down, restrain himself, but once he's given himself to someone...that's it. Game over. You've gained an attachment for life.

4) Ignis misses his home...but not so much the world itself but more his friends. What remained of his family. The world could burn for what it did to him and his friends (especially Bahamut), but Prompto, Gladio, Noctis? He misses them dearly. More than he'll ever really let on.

3) The one thing Ignis missed most after losing his sight? The ability to read. Audiobooks were nice, when he could get his hands on them and the time to listen, but...not the same.

The one thing he missed most after coming to the source? Audiobooks. Eorozea doesn't have as many, and again...time.

I well know that feeling...when your world becomes nothing but darkness, being able to see the stars afterward is a blessing.

Well then, certainly take that into account before you do so! But...it is nice to stay up and take care of things while others aren't quite so...active, I will grant you that.

2) WoL!Ignis gets very disoriented whenever teleporting. It reminds him of warping from his home, but on a larger scale.

Miqo'te Ignis is the same, but having his sight restored has helped alleviate some of the disorientation. Some.

1) Ignis does NOT like sweets. Period. Occasionally he'll have something very mildly sweet, but if it's not Ebony, it's not something he wants daily.

I feel this is last night in a nutshell -- for me, at least.

Today is a most special day at The Final Daze! It’s Asahi’s birthday and what better way to celebrate than to go Goth-o-Ween? We’ll have giveaways and some of the best DJs on deck to promote the vibe. Doors open at 10P EST so put on those costumes or party hats and show some love!
