A Choco chibi for anatomy practice! I tried to do it without references to try and test my skills; I think it went well but I for sure want to study more 😅 I had a lot of fun drawing this outfit too, which was designed by my amazing friend! 🩵

Aww this is so cute!! Dachsbun was one of my favorite Pokémon in Scarlet/Violet and it looks so sweet in your style!

TLDR all of these sorts of games helped me find the inspiration for my work today! I tend to get nostalgic very easily and I love retro media, and I love to reflect on the pieces of media I adored growing up as inspiration for making fun, nostalgic pieces that I hope make others smile 🩵

I DID however love those browser adoptable pet games! I was a total Webkinz/Moshi Monsters/Build-A-Bear kid. I loved Animal Jam a ton too! Somehow I never got into Neopets as a kid which is strange considering how many of those games I loved. I did try it out in college though and it was super cool!

Tragically I didn’t get into RPGs/adventure games until I was about nine or so (starting with the one and only Mario; LOVED Galaxy) so I missed out on games like MapleStory which I think had adorable pixel art!

A lot of my work is inspired by the games I grew up playing! Aside from Pokémon (of course) I also played a lot of Style Savvy (the original is still my fave), the Petz games, the Zhu-Zhu Pets games, and basically anything that had to do with cute animals or fashion.
