Professor Jerry M. Lewis, witness to Kent State shootings, dies at 88 Lewis helped disperse the crowd after National Guard opened fire May 4, 1970. He dedicated his life to researching and memorializing that day.

Jerry was instrumental in keeping the history and memory of the Kent State shootings alive.
