i'm vastly too square to do Real Drugs but I had a similar experience with coffee. I never could figure out why people talked about it making them feel buzzy and energized? Like I could drink a whole pot and be like "I .... guess? I kinda feel something?" turns out the ADHD was ADHD'ing.
